Understanding the approach

What is
Nutritional Therapy?

Nutritional Therapy is a holistic approach to wellness that uses nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support optimal health and well-being. We look at the bigger picture — not just symptoms. We dig deeper to what's happening underneath, assessing your diet, lifestyle, stress, sleep, digestion and blood sugar regulation.

It's about getting to the root causes and building habits to support lasting change to restore function.

About Kelly

Hi there, I’m Kelly.

I’m a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, a lifelong learner, a big believer in the power of encouragement—and someone who is endlessly curious about how the choices we make every day can help us feel our best.

But I didn’t always know I would end up here.

Years ago, my husband, David, and I moved to Paris. I remember packing my suitcases with granola bars from America because I couldn’t find the ones I was used to buying at home. Looking back, those granola bars make me smile, because I had no idea how much living in France would change the way I thought about food.

Life in France introduced me to a different relationship with food. People sat down. They lingered. They ate real, simple food. They cooked, enjoyed it and made time for it.

After ten years in France, I came home with a lot fewer granola bars—and a much greater appreciation for whole foods, home-cooked meals and the simple act of slowing down.

Along the way, my interest in health became much more personal. When David was just 39 years old, he had a heart attack.

That experience changed our family—and changed the way I thought about health. I wanted to understand more, so I began asking questions, reading, learning and paying closer attention to the connection between what we eat, how we live and how we feel.

That curiosity eventually grew into a passion.

For most of my adult life, my greatest calling has been being a mom to our two children, Weston and Caroline. As they grew older and became more independent, I began asking myself: What am I being called to do next?

The answer kept leading me back to nutrition—and to something that has always been a part of who I am: encouraging others.

I love being in someone’s corner. I wanted this next chapter of my life to be spent doing something meaningful, helping people believe that positive change is possible. So I followed that calling and became a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP).

Why I created Fully Well

I created Fully Well because I believe living a healthier life doesn’t mean doing everything perfectly.

There’s room for real life here.

I believe in understanding what your body needs, learning the why behind your choices, and finding practical changes that actually work in your real life.

There is no judgment here. No shame over what you ate yesterday. No expectation that you overhaul your life overnight.

We start where you are.

My job is to listen, ask questions and help turn all the confusing information about nutrition and wellness into practical, actionable steps that make sense for you.

I’ll bring my curiosity. I’ll keep learning so I can share that knowledge with you. And most importantly, I’ll be in your corner, encouraging you along the way.

We do this together. I’m on your team.

My hope is simple: that you feel supported, encouraged and empowered to make choices that help you feel your best—not just for a season, but for the life you want to live.

Common doesn’t always mean normal. And feeling less than your best doesn’t have to become something you simply accept.

We’ll talk through your health history, lifestyle, concerns, goals, Food & Mood Journal, and Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire, with follow-up questions along the way to fill in any gaps and better understand patterns. After the session, your information will be carefully reviewed and analyzed to identify foundational priorities and prepare for your Recommendations Visit.

This visit brings together the analysis and preparation completed after your Initial Session. 03

Ongoing Support  |  15 Minutes

Between visits, you’ll have support as you begin putting your recommendations into practice. Check-ins are a chance to share how things are going, ask questions, work through challenges, and receive helpful resources or guidance as needed.

04

Follow-Up Session  |  45–60 Minutes

Before your follow-up, your updated forms, Food & Mood Journal, and Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire will be reviewed and compared with your earlier information. During the session, we’ll look at what has changed, review your progress, revisit priorities, and talk through any new questions or concerns. From there, we’ll refine and finalize the recommendations we agree on so you leave with clear next steps for moving forward.
